Among Adam Martindale’s strengths is his ability to often make “magic” happen for his clients on-board.
Adam combines many years of experience in the cruise and hospitality industries with his love of travel, food and wine to operate Martindale Travel & Tours and Pink Umbrella Travel, a Cruise Planners Franchise affiliated with American Express.
Adam shares, “My clients say that I’m detail oriented, responsive, and that I follow up extremely well. Making sure I look out for my clients, I constantly analyze and filter a huge amount of new information and itineraries, which I share with my clients to fit their needs.”
Originally from England, Adam has worked as Food and Beverage Director at San Diego’s “Coronado Bay Resort” and “Bacara Resort” in Santa Barbara, among others in Washington State and Florida.
Adam went to sea with Carnival Cruise Lines in 1985, when the line had only 3 ships in their fleet! As F&B Director he brought out two new ships, even living in Finland and Sweden while two of their ships were being built.
He performed the same role in Germany for Norwegian Cruise Line with “Pride Of America.” and “Pride of Hawaii.”
Experience on smaller luxury ships was earned while Food and Beverage Director position at Oceania and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Adam looks forward to helping MeetMeOnboard members and friends plan their cruises and other travel. He offers a wealth of experience to personalize the onboard experience and knows most ports of call through the world! When he travels, he is always available by e-mail and his associate (and ex-wife!) Juanita, assists with the business. Juanita also worked on board cruise ships for 8 years and has escorted many groups.
