The Celebrity Millennium has completed a refurbishment in Asia. The ship, built in 2000, received a makeover to be brought to all Celebrity ships fleet wide. Long a fave cruise line of MeetMeOnBoard LGBTQ cruise travelers, Celebrity won a whopping 5 MMOB Cruizie® Awards in 2018 in the Best Overall Food Experience, Buffet, Decor, Cabins and Spa categories.
Millennium will sail extended voyages of 13-14 days in Asia until May when she’ll reposition for the summer Alaska season. To get more information or to book a cruise contact MMOB’s travel expert Adam Martindale.
Sailors will see updated staterooms, public areas and dining. Qsine (restaurant) will be added across the fleet with cute little animated wait staff “preparing” your meal tableside with the Le Petit Chef experience. Oceanview Café has a marketplace-inspired design, and the main restaurants will boast a new look.
Other features include: Expansion of the new SEA Thermal Suite; new shopping experiences and reimagined bars and lounges. There are upgrades to public venues all through the ship, including The Hideaway, Team Earth, The Library, and more.
Millennium’s renovation is the first in what is called the “Celebrity Revolution” a fleet-wide ship update project continuing through 2023. The revolution is meant to bring all the fleet ships consistent with the fabulous new Celebrity Edge.
