Azamara Club Cruises today announced their purchase of a third ship for their fleet. Azamara Pursuit, formerly the P&O Adonia, will be delivered in March 2018. Itineraries for the new vessel will be released next month.

“We are pleased to expand our portfolio by 50%, allowing us to visit even more regions of the world through the acquisition of this sister ship,” said Larry Pimentel, President and CEO of Azamara Club Cruises®. “Our loyal guests and travel partners have asked for this expansion for a long time; we are very pleased to deliver this to them.”

Like Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest, Azamara Pursuit, accommodates approximately 700 guests, enabling the vessels to visit smaller, unique ports, giving guests more opportunity to experience Azamara’s Destination Immersion.  Prior to its first voyage for Azamara, Pursuit will undergo renovations to give it a visual style similar to its sister ships.

Our Take: As fans of Azamara, we’re excited at the brand’s expansion of their fleet. We’re looking forward to hearing about the Azamara Pursuit’s itineraries, and to photos of the new ship after its renovation.
